I just love how versatile a black and white striped rug can be. You can use it in so many settings and it accomplishes a different look each time. I'm currently working on a dining room for a client of mine and fingers crossed she loves the idea of a B & W striped rug as much as I do.

I saw this amazing pair of cream and navy floral printed Paige denim the other day. They were similar to these J Brands. I was so proud of myself for not buying them at the time but now I'm totally kicking myself for leaving them behind! Errrrr! Oh well. Hope you all had a great weekend!

I've been lusting after the classic Egg Chair for a while. I usually don't go super modern in any of my spaces, but there is something about this modern classic that makes it work with a multitude of styles. I would give anything to have the pink one in the second photo. Hey, a girl can dream...
Have a great weekend!

I'm all about this floral J.Crew scarf at the moment. I love pairing mine with red, navy and turquoise, as well as mixing it with other prints, like leopard and tortoise. Just make sure it's not color overload. Tone it down by pairing the prints with a few neutrals.

After seeing Lynne Scalo's Room in the Kips Bay Show House, I decided to scope out her extensive portfolio. I am now officially a fan. Here are some favorites I found...
Her use of color is implemented in a sophisticated way, which makes the spaces incredibly interesting. The details in the neutral spaces are also SO appealing! LOVE!

I just came across this slide show in the NYTimes of the 2012 Kips Bay Show House. It's much more modern that I expected.
The bright colors are incredibly refreshing. The last image of a room by Lynne Scalo is my favorite. If you're in the New York area, tour the home before June 14th. The event benefits the Boys & Girls Club of New York City. If you can't make it to the house, but you wish to donate to this amazing organization, you can do so here!
