A Colorful Thanksgiving Table Setting

I fully appreciate a traditional table setting but yesterday I came across a table runner that could be the starting point for an incredible non-traditional Thanksgiving table.

Although the runner isn't what you would typically think of for a Thanksgiving table, I love that it does have some traditional fall colors in it.  Fresh flowers of the season in bud vases running down the table would be perfect.  The touches of gold that I added in the candlesticks, votives, drinkware and napkins rings make for a rich look.  Make sure to complement those accents with a soft place setting...lavender dinner plates with white salad plates and white linen napkins are perfect.  My favorite touch is the ikat bowl from Nate Berkus' line on HSN.  I would have three of these on the table filled with cranberries or an elegant candy.  Too bad I'm not hosting this year. ;)

  1. You know I love these colors---and anytime you want to host...

  2. Hope that your Thanksgiving is filled with happiness, health, and the good fortune to be with family and friends. The table is lovely but not the priority of the festivities.
