Style Compass: Kelly Hoppen

As I've mentioned in the past, I love to check in at 1st dibs each week to see who's currently featured in their Style Compass series.  It's always someone fabulous and this week is no exception.  Meet Kelly Hoppen, style and design guru.

Dubbed the "Queen of Taupe," Kelly, owner of Kelly Hoppen Interiors, has spread her enthusiasm for muted colors to designers and stylists alike over the last 20 years.  Along with designing interiors, Kelly also has a retail store and designs home accessories, furniture, lighting, carpets, fabrics, paints, bed linen and more.  And on top of all that, she has started the Kelly Hoppen Design School.  How does she do it all?  Check out these images from 1st dibs and then hop over to her website and check out her other brilliant projects.

I love the herringbone floors here, not to mention the lucite swing and the yellow chair popping from the other side of the room.

 Check out this view...

Great wallpaper, headboard, lighting, everything.

This is truly a perfect use of neutrals.  I love the chairs at the heads of the table and the zebra rug of course.

A study in contrasts.

Don't forget to pop over and visit her portfolio for more inspiration!
